About Gracean L. Janker
Gracean Linthacum-Janker graduated from Santa Clara University with dual degrees of Bachelor of Science in Economics and Bachelor of Science in Political Science with a Pre-Law Emphasis. She graduated Magna Cum Laude and is a member of Alpha Sigma Nu Jesuit Honor Society, Pi Sigma Alpha Political Science Honor Society and Phi Beta Kappa Honor Society. She was a member of Alpha Delta Pi Sorority where she served as the Vice President of Membership Experience. Gracean was on the Santa Clara University Dance Team for four years and served as captain for two years.
Gracean received her Juris Doctor from Santa Clara University School of Law in 2025. While a law student, Gracean was the Senior Technical Editor of the Santa Clara Law Review and President of the Family Law Society. In addition, Gracean graduated with honors, is a member of the Order of the Coif, and received the CALI Excellence for the Future Award for Legal Research & Writing 1, CALI Excellence for the Future Award for Legal Research & Writing 2, and the Witkin Award for Academic Excellence in Employment Law. She is also published in Volume 65 of the Santa Clara Law Review for her article “More Easily Facilitating Involuntary Treatment: The Impacts of Senate Bill 43 On the Intersection of Mental Illness and Homelessness in California.” Gracean began her relationship with the firm as a second-year law clerk.
While attending law school, Gracean was the Graduate Assistant Coach of the Santa Clara University Dance Team and previously worked as a law clerk at a family law and estate litigation firm.
As a Bay Area native, Gracean enjoys dancing, going to the beach, and spending time with friends and family.
