About Jessica L. Huey-Gregg
Of Counsel
Ms. Huey-Gregg has been practicing exclusively family law since 2011. She has handled family law matters involving every facet of the family by representing parents, spouses, grandparents, and children. Ms. Huey-Gregg has taken paternity, spousal support, custody, domestic violence, and move-away issues to trial. She assists Clients in reaching favorable settlements, but when necessary, will zealously litigate any issue in the courtroom. She believes the field of family law requires a level of compassion, trust, and advocacy that is unlike any other field of law. Although Ms. Huey-Gregg has extensive litigation experience, she prides herself in finding ways to reach resolutions outside of the courtroom that exceed her Client’s expectations.
In 2008, Ms. Huey-Gregg graduated with honors from the University of California, Irvine with Bachelor’s Degrees in both Criminology and Educational Studies which was where her passion for families and the law began. Ms. Huey-Gregg received her Juris Doctorate from Santa Clara University School of Law. During law school, Ms. Huey-Gregg was awarded a CALI Excellence for the Future Award, was named Best Oral Advocate, and was a finalist in Honors Moot Court. Outside of the classroom, Ms. Huey-Gregg worked as a Certified Law Clerk for a boutique family law firm where she discovered the field of family law and decided to pursue it post-graduation.
Ms. Huey-Gregg was admitted to the California State Bar in fall 2011 and opened a private law practice two months thereafter. For the next 15 years, she was in private practice helping families throughout Santa Clara navigate complex legal issues.
Between 2020 2023, Ms. Huey-Gregg was the Co-Chair of the Minor’s Counsel Committee of Santa Clara County. In this role she worked to improve policies, procedures, and practices of attorneys who accepted appointments to represent children in family law, guardianship, and adoption cases. During this time, she devoted approximately a quarter of her practice to representing children in contentious custody matters, helping children have a voice in the proceedings, and advocating for their best interests. To date, Ms. Huey-Gregg continues to regularly accept Minor’s Counsel appointments from the Court and remains a zealous advocate for children, whether she is representing the child or the parent in the proceeding.
In 2021, Ms. Huey-Gregg was a recipient of the Santa Clara County Family Law Volunteer of the Year Award.
Ms. Huey-Gregg was named a California Super Lawyers Rising Star in 2020 and 2021, and beginning in 2023 and through the present, she has been acknowledged annually as a Super Lawyer.
In 2026, Ms. Huey-Gregg joined Lonich, Patton, Erlich, and Policastri to expand her reach in family law, but on a greater scale.
In her free time, Ms. Huey-Gregg enjoys pilates, music, and spending time with her husband and 3 children.
